It’s a very unfortunate fact that Washington no longer has a professional basketball team. However, the legacy of the Sonics lives on, and deserves to be celebrated. For instance: Gary Payton. Point guard. Superstar. Rapper? Apparently. And now for your listening enjoyment, GP on the mic.

And though we are without the NBA, let’s not forget our local semi-pro squads, the Seattle Mountaineers, the Bellingham Slam, the Vancouver Volcanoes, the Jazz of Tacoma, and the Snohomish County Explosion.
