Yes, you should love Tacoma. It’s the City of Destiny. It’s Volcano City. And it’s the city that Marilyn Strickland calls home. If you haven’t yet, RSVP for this Saturday’s Bus trip to Tacoma – it’s the first of the year, and we’re going to go to support Marilyn’s run for Mayor.
Check the Bus website to sign up, and then celebrate, just a touch, with one of Tacoma’s local jerkin crews (yes jerkin’, the dance style, not jerkin the leather shirt. Look it up.).

We just can’t get enough of these PowerCorps Fellows! They’re so good. So. Good. Last weekend we trekked over to the Kitsap Penninsula to look ahead to the next couple of months, and to lay the foundation for the summer. And we took a camera.
