The Bus has a long and hallowed tradition of surrounding ourselves with smart people, and today we get to celebrate one of them. Board member Randy Engstrom received the Emerging Leader Award from Americans for the Arts, the number one pro-art non-profit in the country.

In addition to serving on the Bus board, Randy runs the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in Delridge, is on the Cultural Overlay District commission with the City, and is a member of the Seattle Arts Commission. As if that weren’t enough, he’s also getting his Master’s degree in Policy and Non-Profit management at the UW, and holds down the best DJ night in town (Fridays at Grey Gallery).
