The 2009 Mile High Club

Sky high

Sky high

First and foremost, the Bus’s Mile High Club is not NOT that Mile High Club. Got it? Is your mind fully out of the gutter? Okay. Great. Jeez.

Rather, the Bus’s 2009 Mile High Club Contest is for new and existing monthly members. What’s a monthly member? Easy – it’s somebody who supports the Bus’s programs by giving a manageable amount every month. It’s easy, breezy, and often extra cheezy.

Here’s how it works –

  • Recruit one new monthly member and you’ll get VIP entry into our Bus/SnoCon party on May 24th at Havana (what, you didn’t know?)
  • Get two and you get VIP entry and drink tickets
  • Three? That gets you the Mile High Club tshirt (hot!)
  • Get $100/month and you get a presidential belt from our friends at Spacecraft.

And, of course there’s a grand prize – full on VIP status and the loft space at Havana all to yourself for the Memorial Day weekend throwdown.

You can easily get your first prize by becoming a monthly member today, or by increasing your own monthly pledge (yep, increases count, too).

Questions? Comments? Want to join up? Make sure to hit up Sarah at sarah(at)washingtonbus(dot)org for answers to all life’s burning questions.

Don’t try this at home.

Or in a mall. Or a street. Or wherever. Just don’t. Let these nutters do it for you.

Ah, good old Snohomish. You do it every time. If you’ve ever driven through a Redwood in California and wondered where you could find an equivalent in Washington, look no further. Behold the glory that is the Snohomish Bike Tree. Until it was levelled by lightning and (ultimately) flooding in 1927, the Bike Tree was one a go-to SnoHo icon. Long live the Bike Tree.
