You’re a pretty smart cookie, we know that. Want to put those brains to excellent use? Sure you do. And here’s how you can do it: sign up for the Municipal League’s Candidate Evaluation Program.
The Candidate Evaluation Program is a volunteer-led review of candidates running for local offices in King County. Roughly 60-90 volunteer candidate investigators will help the Municipal League review and rate up to 125 candidates in 2009.
The League’s candidate ratings provide the region’s only independent, non-partisan, non-agenda driven evaluation of candidates for public office. The process is similar to a “job interview” – with a diverse group of citizens serving as hiring managers.
It’s totally badass, and you should be a part of it. And guess what? You can be. Just get thee to Piecora’s on Thursday, May 7th at 6:30, and get in on the action!
