PowerCorps: official

Last night was the formal kick-off for PowerCorps, the Bus’s political bootcamp, and it was quite an event. We trekked up to the tip-top of one of Seattle’s most revered landmarks, the Smith Tower, for strawberry shortcake and the metaphorical breaking of the champagne bottle.

It was a fantastic event, many thanks to our hosts for having us, to the Honorable Norm Rice for being our keynote speaker, and to the many board members, friends, and allies who made it an amazing evening.

PowerCorps is here. It’s official.

Way to go Bus! Very excited to see what PowerCorps accomplishes this summer. You should be proud of yourselves for seeing the need, and even more so for filling it. Kudos to you, and I’m excited to see the results come November.
