What you need to know about Candidate Survivor

CandidateSurvivorTallSmallItem the first: You get to vote candidates off stage.

Yes, you, as an audience member, get to make the call on which candidates advance through the three rounds of the contest. It is truly a struggle for the ages, and one for which you are the ultimate arbiter of power.

What’s that? You’re seventeen and you’re wondering whether you can participate? Absolutely yes. All attendees can vote, regardless of age or registration status. Boom!

How will you exercise your newfound power? Through the application of cell phone “text-ing” technology. Bring it!

Item the second: Get on the guestlist.

You know what the Bus hates? Lines. We despise them. With a passion. You know what we love? Being on a guestlist that allows us to skip the slow parts of a line.

Oh, you too? Well guess what? There’s a guestlist for Candidate Survivor, and because you’re reading this here blog, it means you’re in our world, we like you and we want you at Candidate Survivor. All you have to do is drop us an email at hanna(at)washingtonbus(dot)org saying you want to get on the guestlist, and we’ll get you sorted out. It’s that easy.

Item the third: Make the magic happen.

Want to be part of the Candidate Survivor team? We like you! Send an email to hanna(at)washingtonbus(dot)org and tell us you want to volunteer. We appreciate it, and you never know – you might end up in the Beer Tester roll. What, you think we’re kidding?

Item the fourth: Where and when?

Candidate Survivor is going down on Tuesday, July 28th at the Showbox at the Market (1426 1st Ave). Doors open at 6, and the show begins at 7. Boo ya!
