1033. not smart.

China. It’s the most populous nation on earth. Just how many people live in China? Well, in July 2008 the estimate was 1.3 billion people. Holy crap. Now imagine, just for a moment, that every single person in China had one (just one!) dollar that would have otherwise gone to paying for the services you rely on here in Washington – like education, transportation, environmental protection, etc. That’s a lot of money not paying for fire trucks and police, right? Well get this – I-1033 would be even worse! If it passes, Tim Eyman’s I-1033 will remove $1.5 billion from public services.

That’s crap! Vote No on 1033 and sign up for Trick or Vote today!

And for the record, we’ve got nothing against China, it’s just such a convenient population comparison!

    interesting choice in countries.

    china is a prime buyer of government bonds to fuel our federal overspending. am i wrong? =)
