The Bus officially has a new member: Christina Rocks!
Christina will be coming on board with the Bus as our Field Coordinator, which means you’ll see her at Bus trips, Capitol Hill Block Party, Trick or Vote, and every phone bank from here to Spokane.Christina’s already a total badass, doing campus organizing here in Washington and during her schooldays (ah, the memories) in Arizona.
We wish we could take credit for her last name, but she already came equipped. What else should you know about Christina? Let’s find out. Ladies and gents, the Christina Rocks Interview of the century!
WA Bus: Where are you from?
Christina Rocks: The Phoenix Metro Area of Arizona
Bus: When’s your birthday?
CR: August 3rd
Bus: What’s your favorite part of Washington State?
CR: My favorite part of Washington state is driving into the city of Seattle (perhaps after coming home from a hiking adventure or some work in the field) and seeing downtown’s skyline up against the incredible, even majestic, mountains and completely surrounded by water (not many bodies of water in Phoenix, so I find it really exciting).
Bus: What’s your secret talent?
CR: Making entertaining (to me at least) stop-motion films via iMovie
Christina, do you prefer:
Lake Washington or Lake Whatcom?
CR: Lake Whatcom
Electric or acoustic?
Beer or wine?
CR: Both! (but not at the same time, each has its occasion)
Doorbelling or phonebanking?
Ferrari or Maserati?
CR: Tough decision, they’re both Italian (like me!)-but Maserati wins!
Pike or Pine?
And there you have it. Christina Rocks, a phonebanking, Pine street prowling, acoustic lover of Lake Whatcom, is officially on Team Bus. And we’re psyched to have her. Welcome to the Bus, Ms. Rocks.
Want to meet Christina? Come through to Greyhound on Thursday, May 20th. Hella official. Be thurr.
